The ethical charter

Preamble :

Nuances® Profiles are personality profiles designed for professionals involved in individual or group support (coaching, consulting, recruitment, training, psychotherapy, etc.). Their aim is to offer a made-to-measure support approach for transition phases with a view to evolution, respecting the uniqueness of the individual and taking account of his or her life context. They have been specifically developed to help professionals bring out the keys to understanding the behaviour of the person or people they are working with, so that the necessary awareness can be gained for change to occur. Each person certified in the use of Nuances® personality profiles undertakes to comply with all the rules and recommendations below. Any person noticing a signatory's failure to respect the present charter may refer the matter to the Nuances® Academy Ethics Committee. This committee will meet to assess the reality and seriousness of the breaches and decide on a possible sanction, which may include the loss of certification and the related rights to use the profiles. This charter is neither exhaustive nor definitive. It is intended to be amended, enriched and improved according to the requests and suggestions of persons certified in the use of Nuances® Profiles, case law and the future reflections of the Ethics Committee.

Ethical Charter :

As a person duly certified in the use of Nuances® Personality Profiles:
    1. I use the Nuances® Profiles to help people, never to manipulate them.

    1. I respect all people, their autonomy and their will, without any discrimination based on their condition or beliefs.

    1. I respect the uniqueness of an individual and avoid any caricature of his or her personality traits.

    1. I do not use Nuances® profiles at the request of or within the framework of a sectarian organisation.

    1. I make sure that people who answer the questionnaire do so of their own free will and I always give people the opportunity to refuse to have their profile done.

    1. Once a person has completed the questionnaire, I hand them the full report in paper or digital format. Under no circumstances do I give their profile to a third party without their permission.

    1. When I hand over a profile, I always give a detailed report to the person concerned to explain the colour model and all the graphs that make up their Nuances® profile.

    1. I take part once every two years at least (3 years if dispensation is granted by the Nuances® Academy) in a supervision session based on an audio or video recording of a profile feedback. The aim of these supervisions is to enable me to question my practice of Nuances® Profiles delivery and continue to use profiles.

    1. I undertake to abide by any decision concerning me taken by the Nuances Academy on the recommendation of its Ethics Committee.
